Musky Brian - 10/6/2012 12:21 AM Mak51 - 10/4/2012 9:02 PM I just started using a new dive-n-rise called the Danny Bait; absolutely awesome! I was also introduced to the Danny this year....assume you were fishing LOTW Mak? interesting bait....get's tangled up a little much at times and the back tickler is not terribly durable but myself and some buddies did take some very nice fish on it.... Actually Thorne Bros was carrying them (plastic version); picked one up as it looked like an interesting bait. They do tangle and are hair light to cast but I really like the action... easy to make them dance.

Posts: 2037 Location: lansing, il | I like the Lakeshore Lures EZ Riseer. Nice and heavy with a nice hangtime and very slow rise.

I was involved in the design when it was converted from wood to plastic and I have a few. Dan the originator of the bait wanted a very buoyant bait and it is. The high buoyancy of the bait gives it a lot of action and it stays near the top. I put rattles in the few I made for myself to help give it a little more hangtime. I’m not sure if Dan is making them that way though.

Last month I got my hands on a couple of the new Plastic 9" Suicks. I've been using Suicks for over 40 years and when I first saw the plastic Suick,I was a little apprehensive. Ihad the chance to use it on my last vacation and I really like it. I think Suick has another winner. My flock of Suicks will be growing.
