Subject: First time on the Big V

Hey guys, So heading to the Big V for the first time and my Dad and I are really excited. Anyone have some suggestions on how we should approach these fall fish? We will be getting there Oct 15 and staying near Moccasin Point. Would love to take a guide but we don;t have the cake to hire one. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated to hopefully head us in the right direction to dancing with one of those legendary 50 plus inch Big V fish I always read about on here. you can pm me at [email protected] if that is better. CPR always!!!

Guest Speaker: Rick Rosar

Twin Cities Chapter of Muskies Inc will have Rick "Rocker" Rosar give a seminar about fishing Lake Vermilion. Most of us have a love/hate relationship with the lake. We love the big fish, but hate the fishing pressure and the hoops you have to jump through to successfully fish the lake. Rick has been fishing the lake forever and will save you some frustration.

Rick previously gave a seminar here on how to catch more and bigger fish out of the back of the boat and how to pick a fishing partner. It was an excellent talk with aspects many of us had never thought about. Rick is a successful tournament anger and big fish specialist.

All kids under the age of 18 get a free lure for attending.

Monthly meetings are normally scheduled on the second Tuesday of each month at the Knights of Columbus on 1114 American Blvd W Bloomington, MN at 7pm.
