| Dropped the boat off at the shop this morning, but curious to see if anyone has thoughts, the shop isn't able to get to it for a couple of days. I took the boat out on Saturday 2007 Merc Opti 225 as I started driving had made it up on plane and was trimming up slightly increasing the throttle, I turned my head and heard a noise so I pulled back on the throttle and the motor died. Tried to restart and it just clicked, after a couple of minutes tried restarting and it restarted but seemed I didn't have the same power, as I backed off the throttle again I heard a winding down noise so I shut it off, almost sounded like the starter was still engaged with the fly wheel. After that it wouldn't restart.
