Just wondering if anyone is using a Tranx reel on a Sling Blade Rod? Looking to get a Rod that works well on a Tranx Reel ......Do not need to Get another rod I won't use. Any Recommendations ? I just got a 9'TI XH Rod Mike Sr.

Second the Big Nasty(3-8), Sling blade is to light in the tip and not enough backbone. Have both and the big dawg also , but 9' Big nasty is a better match.

Use my T.I. 9'XH with the Tranx and it works great in my opinion. Try it...
