Not sure where we could find one to rent or use (possibly a dive shop or Bennett's scuba on Norht Ave in Milw.) But......

If we could find an underwater video camera for the Poolside show at New London. I would gladly volunteer to bring my scuba gear and shoot underwater video of the baits that are being presented...

Absolutely NO "hook sets" allowed if someone happens to get too close...[]

It would have to be digital......

Is that possible under water?

I'm sure it is but finding one will be the trick...

I emailed a friend who owned one but his was either vhs-compact or 8mm.

Sounds like we'll have to scrap the idea but I thought it would add a different dimension to what people are normally used to seeing.

You can maybe find someone that has dazzle...so regular format video can be converted to digital. Dazzle connects between the camera and computer and I believe it costs around $100.

Mark, why not use an AquaView camera? Hook the digital camera up to the video out and record. You could hold the camera and follow the baits as they pass you or swim with them. I've done this before. Turns out pretty cool. If you want more input email me at: [email protected]

Todd,

I wondered about that, I don't know much about the aqua view's, didn't know how long the cord was or things like that.

Not sure who owns one that will be coming to that day but if we could find one I would be willing to give it a try.

If you can borrow an Aqua View, I can get the camera in Mini DV and hook it up[ for the poolside.
