Subject: Bucktails repair and shaft diameter

I was wondering what others opinions were on the issue of bucktails shaft diameter. I use .51 shafts for constructing mag 10 bucktails. I am currently out and only have .62 diameter wire shafts. Does the vibration change at all using a larger shaft. I know the blades turn fine. I typically use .62 on mag 12s or 13s. Any opinions?

I don't think you will see much difference in the lure performance either way. I prefer 0.052 wire just because it is easier to work with.
