| Does anyone remember the information on the fishing watches by Casio. I know Phishin and Mark H. talked about them.
I was going to put it on my X-mas list. Looking for the model number.
Thanks.

| Todd,
Got one for my birthday in October I have the Casio "Forester" fishin time watch. Bass Pro catalog sells two models.
I think my wife got mine at Wal-Mart or Kohl's for $35-40.
It works well and is a fun toy/tool to mess around with.
Coincidentally or not...since I've got it the majority if the fish that were caught in my boat were caught during major or minor times on the watch...
Have fun...hope ya find one under the tree on Christmas Day.

| Hey Mark, thanks for the info. I hope the big guy in red comes through.
By the way, my home town is Osseo, I'm in Wisconsin Rapids now. Eau Claire, my old stomping grounds.[]
Thanks again.

Had the model with the plastic straps for $19.99
I bought 2 of them, gave one to my muskie-fishing partner, who was not at all thrilled...
Anyway, there are leather-strpped models which look nicer, but I am ok wit the cheaper model (only wear it fishing anyway, so leather would be bad, would get wet a lot).

| Oops, make that $15.97
And it even looks like the ones for this lower price have the green webbing band with leather accents (mine had the cheesy plastic band).

| Todd,
You ever get back this way give me a call, we'll froth the water a little.
If your in Rapids try to hook up with "Reef Hawg" J.Schillinger. Seems like a nice guy and sounds like he fishes the river quite a bit.
Happy Holidays...

| Hey Todd,
You'll get the best deal from Ed Jackson. He's got them. Give him a call.
www.jacksonlures.com or 1-641-752-7012.
I love mine. Haven't had it long enough to say it "works"....but it's a fun little gadget to have...and it comes in handy if you want to know moon and sun times on any day from now until 2040. |
