MY tips-ups are rigged with 50# braided line.I then use 20# mono with a steel leader. I then pick a spot on a drop-off with either rocks or weeds, fish anywhere from 15 to 20 feet deep 5 to 8 feet off the bottom or set some at 6 inches off the rocks.

For bait i have been using LARGE golden shiners (hand picked) or muskie suckers. I have added a spring to my tip-ups to keep the flag from being tripped from the bait. when seting the depth i us the biggest bobber I can to also help the bait from tripping the flag.

Sunday brought 3 more muskies 28" to 45"

YES THIS IS FUN! anyone else doing this?
