Location: Northern Wisconsin | Why are they so cheap? Are they updated with new plastic and harness? According to one site they have the new plastic and new harness just not the eyes or clear coat. So for a dawg with the eyes and clear coat (which I noticed doesn't do much) you pay 4-5 dollars more?
If I buy an economy dawg do I run thesame huge risk of the harness breaking or split ring/ hooks breaking like old ones?

Location: musky waters of SE, WI | The economy dawgs are just like the "upper grade dawgs" with the new plastic and harness, they just dont have the clear coat, eyes, and spiced up colors which make the other ones cost more. |

Location: Land of the Musky | I have a few and you are correct. They are about $5 less and just do not have the holographic eyes and clear coat. I think they come in about 8 colors too.

PS-SuperDs are about the same price as the Econo Dawgs and do have holographic eyes and 42 colros and 6 sizes |

Location: North/Central WI | I thnk the econo dawgs are better than the "new and improved" bulldawgs with clearcoat. The new dawgs have a slower darting action in the water when ripped. |

| How do the Economy Dawgs hold up compared to the new Bulldawgs with the clear coat? More fish per lure with the ones with the clear coat? Less damage? |

| If you like a color and they have it in econo, i would just do the econo. Every dawg ive bought the eyes ger torn out anyway. Never had and issues with econo's, and some sharpy markers can jazz em up if you NEED a piece of artwork. |
