Big Daddy's are sweet baits. I love to use them in the weeds. Let the tail rise to the surface then give it a good jerk and it will make lots of commotion. It's the perfected bobbie bait imo. I don't like using them in Canada as much though since they don't go as deep on an easy pull, a lot more work to get them to cut through the water as quick as a wades and to be honest, not many weeds where we fish. Doesn't have the same rip and pause effect either. Somebody needs to make a plastic Wades, I'd be in heaven (and don't give me no burt).

EDIT: I've never tried the weighted version

A plastic Wades would be great, IF it would work the same. What we really need for Wade to make is the old(15-20 years ago) fatter short, about 5-1/2" Wobbler. I should not say this, but that is a THE lure for my buddy. He has 2 left, one WAS black, one orange/black. Both are about white now. If he lost those, he would probably quit musky fishing. I talked to Wade a few years ago to see if he could still make it, claimed he couldn't for some reason, so we bought some skinnier short Wobblers from him, not the same.

Awesome info guys on the Big Daddy Weighted 10". I'm gonna pick one or two up as I can see a few areas on my home water where these would work! I may have to grab a few Wades too! Thanks!!
