Random quote: Well, that was fun, and I liked catching a muskie, but I would rather fish for Bluegills. ( Mr. Bluegill after landing a 45" Sabaskong Muskie)

Thanks to everyone who braved the wind. 2 and 3 foot waves were during the calm part of the day. 98 out of the 500 entered anglers caught a total of 128 fish 40 inches or longer. A fish has to be 40" to be registered. One boat caught two 53 inchers! The top two anglers each landed 4 legal fish. Thanks to Muskies Inc Hall of Famer and Tournament Director, Denise Olson, for the extraordinary event she and the Tournament Committee puts together. We will submit a magazine article and pictures to Muskies Inc. Look to the Twin Cities Chapter website for more information.
