| Good enough for anything but top-waters? I got a bunch of 1.5"x1.5" pieces from a cabinet maker and it seems way too light.......or does it make good crankbaits if you add some weight to it? Grain is pretty nice. Anybody use it? Seems like it would be ideal lathe pieces.

| beaver. were running white cedar now in cranks. their wire thru. sure turns nice and seals/paints well.lucky my sister has acsess in northern ont..its corky and and has tons of action. |

| I can't turn them, but I bet some flat-sided minnow lures would have some action. I don't do wire-thru either, but I 2-ton epoxy every screw eye. I'll have to make some dive-rise minnow lures out of this stuff. I have a 2-part sealer that's designed for wood just like this stuff. Thanks Woodie, always appreciate your input.
