| Anyone know anything about Moose, Deer or North Star lakes? My brothe inlaw will be up there for a few days and wants to catch a muskie. Let me know.
Thanks

Location: Big Falls MN | For a big fish deer is your best bet very clear cisco lake. Moose have just a few humps and rocks but weeds all over a good number of fish in there might get a 45 out of there. A few nice fish on North Star lots of spots to fish and a chance at a 50 inch fish. |

Location: Cohasset, MN | Deer is unusually clear and has mostly rocky structure. Not much for big weed beds. It's been the most difficult of the 3 to just see fish (for me). Moose has good rocks and weeds/reeds. Northstar is almost all weeds/reeds. It's also the safest for navigation if you don't have a GPS mapping unit (or know the lake well). I find the man/hr per fish caught to be about the same between Moose and Northstar but I get more follows (and see more muskies just being muskies) on Northstar. |

Location: Otsego, MN | Was just on deer this past weekend, walleye and bass fishing. The lake is ultra clear and water temps were 81 on Saturday and 79 Sunday. Lots of hazards that are poorly marked, I would not recommend going to fast out there especially after dark. |
