Was a cold morning fishing. We struck out on muskies, my buddy limited out on Coho's in a couple of hours.

good to hear milje!! ... what were the coho's eating?? i'm heading to chequamegon bay next week. any tips on colors or sizes much appreciated!!

He said he got them on a #2 gold Mepps. He tried silver and got nothing, said as soon as he went to gold he started catching. Not sure what river he was on, western U.P. though either Black or Presque Isle would be my guess.

Here's a pic of me figure 8ing in the snow on Saturday morning while fishing in the GWMT. On Sun morning it was 28 degrees and our reels and line guides were icing up.
