My iPilot remote seems a little weak using it behind my windshield when I am sitting down. I am thinking of using 2 thinner 3V batteries that would still fit inside the remote. I believe this would give me 6V of power...making the signal stronger.

We used to do this with the early-model car starters that didn't have very good range and it made a big difference.

Has anyone ever tried this with the iPilot?

i jus bought a ipilot this year i have a 18 foot boat i can run it from any place in the boat
