Is it harmful to fish for bass and walleye during warm water temps as well?

Bass should be safer than walleye. Bass do well in places like Florida and Texas. There are already fish kills happening here on the yahara chain, walleyes are one of the species floating. Glad for the musky guys laying off when the temps get this high.

Walleyes are susceptible in several situations. LGM bass and sunfish of many types should be ok to mid 80's, crappies, not so much.

I would think twice about doing catch and release on anything other than LGM and sunfish.

Catfish, bullhead, and carp season is open though. Good stuff there.
