| ok, there has been alot of talk lately here about 2 lb bulldawgs....i throw BIG baits, almost exclusively, some people love em, some hate em, but I would love to hear how many fish that any of you have caught on 2 pounders or mammoth sues. not asking how or where, but just general success stories. thought it would be a good topic. myself personally i have had several follws, but no takers. will keep pounding....pics are always great also! thanks and good luck to all!

Location: Minnesota | i was on vermilion last fall i was useing the pounder in the front of the boat back guy was useing the 2 pounder no fish but the 2 pounder had 7 follows to 0 using the pounder so there might be somthing there i bought a new rod this year just for the 2 pounders dont know how long i can throw the 2 pounder but im going to try it more this year |

Location: MN | I think the last time I tallied it up I had 12 or 13 fish on 2 pounders or mammoth sues. And 9 of those have been on one mamouth sue. Those fish have ranged in size from 39" to 51" with only of them 3 of them less than 45". |

If you workout and stretch you've got nothing to worry about! The right equipment also makes it no different than hucking a pounder. |

| I started throwing them 3 years ago on Vermi in the fall. I was always behind 2 pounders and i kept getting bit so, I kept throwing 'em all fall. By Christmas my neck and shoulder pain turned into numbness in my left arm and dramatic loss of strength. Went to the Dr and they found a herniated disk in my neck...had to get an injection. Moral of the story: don't throw 'em; they'll work...then you'll have to keep throwing 'em...it's a viscous cycle!!! |
