Does anyone know who makes custom muskie lures, preferably wood, that could custom write groomsmen names into them? Anything 8" or longer, looking to spend no more than around $30 per guy, looking for 6. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!

If Beaver is still doing some baits, he'd be a great builder to go to.

Call Mike Mordas owner of Muskie Train. His baits are all wood, hand made and painted by him, one at a time. He would be happy to make them for you. You can pick out any color patterns for the baits also. You will be very happy with them.

What Steve said.

...these turned out pretty cool. I know I've seen some Weagles with a tuxedo paint job too.

H2O tackle. Roger makes great looking natural wood baits.

Great gift idea for your groomsmen. Have fun at the bachelor party!

Great idea to give away baits at your wedding. Maybe you should give them all away, since after the wedding you won't be doing much fishing

Phil Drury from American Hardwood Lures could make up something nice for you with a quick turn around. Check out the new flap tails they are very unique.

I did this for my wedding, too.. Had Doug paint up some custom no-barred perch Slidin'Shads for me with all the guys names and wedding date on the belly. Everyone loved it, nearly all of us have caught fish with them, too!

I see MartinTD posted the link I was about to post... I made lures for my groomsmen, and named it the 'Bache-Lure'. Went over really, really well! I think the pastor was more excited about his than the groomsmen.

If you're interested, send me a PM. I've got some of these blanks cut and shaped, ready to turn into lures. But I won't be offended if you don't.
Congrats!
