This morning I was using my jerk bait rod 7' x heavy from black river rods. I had a fish on and when I landed the fish my rod snapped cutting My line and the rod tip went in the drink. There is a good foot and a half missing now. I was wondering if it's worth it to repair and where to get it repaired. Also the rod is only 2 years old. Would it be under warranty from black river rods? I couldn't find their website so I have no idea, thanks guys

Sorry, but the best you can do at this point is put a new tip guide on it, and use it as a 5'6" rod. Will probably be way too stiff. I'd try to track down the builder and see if they'll cover it.

I don't think that's repairable. Even if you had the missing section, repairs like that are not worth the trouble on a musky rod. They are iffy at best on a bass rod. Sorry dude, looks like you're looking at a new rod.
