Let's get to the next question. The one you really want asked.

11 in one day, in one boat. 8AM through about 3PM. All fish were between 37"-44". Obviously, one of the best days on the water I've ever experienced.

The best day was 5, with my 7 yr old daughter. 18 degrees at launch, it was nearly 2 hours before the first fish. Then we got 3 in about 45 minutes, and the other 2 in the next hour before we pulled the plug. Lauren caught her biggest at 42 1/2!

208...bluegills..
i've had 3 or 4 10 fish days... can't think of an 11 i've had...
one of the 10 fish days was in the fall, 10 fish in under 9 hours fishing...35" to 46"...we lost/missed 5 others.
one of the best nights in my boat was a 9 fish night in MN in 08, all over 40", in 10 hrs on water, 2 biggest at 51.25" and 52.25"...now that was a night to remember...
definitely live for days like these when it seems the fish are just come unglueD!

28 is 1 day......I missed the 13 fish day the day before thought!

I also had a day where we boated 20 all on topwater between 34" and 44"......that was a ton of fun!

My wife and I have had many multiple fish days fishing Muskies. The most casting was 17 on Fluke Lake in Ontario and on that lake 17 is a yawner . Those were all skinny fish between 30 and 40 inches. Counting the ones under 30 inches that day it was around 23 or 24. There have been some unreal numbers posted from that lake. Our best day on St. Clair trolling was 21 and our best day on a Michigan inland lake was 15 trolling . Its not real hard to run up some huge numbers when you get on a hot bite. That same lake that gave up 15 in Michigan skunked us two days later doing the exact same thing. This year we have 0 fish in the last 4 trips. Go figure.

Had one personal 7 fish day and a couple boat 7 fish days, nothing over that though. Best one all around was from 10:30 pm to 1:30 am we had 7 fish in the boat from 39-50.5"es. Had two 50's that night and lost two other nice fish. Best 3 hours of musky fishing of my life. Next night caught two more 50's but I think only five fish that night. 2008 was a great night bite. Last year had lots and lots of 3 fish days but never topped that.

22 in one day on 3 different lakes all casting. 21 of the fish were over 40" with 7 being in excess of 49" and beyond. Very few boats on the lakes that day. I will never forget cranking in fish after fish and no one else around to crowd me.

Had a handful of other days in the double digits casting.

Well, I'll chime in. The best day I've ever had was UW-Eau Claire's homecoming a couple years ago. I decided to go fishing instead of getting drunk all day. None of my college buddies wanted to join me so I took out my dad's boat and headed north.

I missed a dandy on a sucker minnow within the first hour, probably between 45-48 inches. I was fishing in a clear water lake and my quick set rig didn't release the sucker, watched as the fish shook it free about 6 feet down. About an hour later I caught a 40 incher on a phantom about 6 feet from the boat, still one of the coolest strikes I've ever seen. After I released him, I had a follow on the phantom by a mid 30's inch fish and the next cast he hit. Had him right up to the boat but didn't get him in the net.

I've never had a multiple fish day but hopefully this is the year. However, I'll never forget that day, mid October 60 degrees and sunny with no wind. Just a great day to be out on the water.

If yours counts, then maybe mine can too? I lost count after a few thousand while helping DNR putt the fingerlings out of the ponds and put them into trucks!! We get the opportunity to help them every year. One of the coolest days off I've had in awhile!
