I will be running #30 mono and Fenwick elite tech trolling rods. Has anyone experimented with Dipsys using similar setup? Do you think a magnum will pull too hard? Anyone tried trolling a double bladed cow girl behind a Dipsy? Would a magnum handle the extra pull of a lure of that type or similar without rolling over? I haven't had time to experiment this myself so any input is appreciated. Thanks

I have, I wouldn't use mono, Dipsys get down a lot better with braid. There's an adjustment screw on the dipsy that controls how much pull is needed to open it up, crank that down. 10's don't pull hard enough to open it if its screwed down enough. Stay the heck away from any structure! They are snagging machines with 10's on there. You're rod should be plenty for the magnum. And carefully check the metal connectors on the dipsy (where you attach it to your line and lure) some aren't quite solid enough for muskies.
I did not have any success with it for muskies. Caught lots of silver fish with them though.
