| Looking to take a musky trip in july. Ive heard that rivers are the place to go when the temps get higher. What are some good lakes for musky fishing and camping. Willing to go anywhere in wisconsin and minnesota. Thanks. |

Location: Medford, WI | Toooo many great choices! Add some specific things you'd like for your trip....ex. are you looking for numbers of fish or the possibility of a big fish, camping on that lake or willing to travel a little, any other things you would like to do during your trip?
Add some of those details and I think people will be very willing to help you out.

| No problem! Probably more looking for numbers. I would like to camp on the lake if possible, but not a big deal if I have to stay someplace and drive a little. I live around Madison WI, but will drive to pretty much anywhere in MN and WI. Thanks |

| If you ever thought about fishing Vermillion, i had a buddy back out on a trip we have booked in late July. Right now it's just me and my buddy in my boat and the cabin is priced for four, so we are looking for another boat to split it with. I've been fishing the lake for about four years now and I know the lake pretty well. PM if you are interested at all. |

Location: Lake "y" cause lake"x" got over fished | I second Vermillion, It is a great body of water with size and numbers. Their are some HUGE fish in that lake. Also I would look into LOTW. Great camping availability up there. |

| VermiLion has size I'll give you that, but numbers? LOTW is much better for numbers. Just look at the results of the muskiefirst outings on the Big V. Definitely not big numbers put up. |

Location: Greenfield, WI | Big Lake, west of Boulder Junction, WI has muskies and a very nice campground with lavatories and showers, and plenty of muskie lakes and rivers galore in every direction. |

Location: Bemidji, Lake Vermilion | Yes, please disregard Vermilion. Only the truly skilled or lucky can catch fish there. Big fish are not really there in the large numbers that people talk about. There are certainly not huge numbers of catchable fish that run larger than average waters. You'll never catch 30-40in shakers there. Most people leave with their tail tucked between there legs to never return.
