| I fish a southern river where over the last month I've had pretty good success. Everytime up till today I've either caught fish or had hits but today absolutly nothing. The water felt warmer and was moving significantly slower than the last few times I've went. My question is has anyone else had a similar experience on rivers where the fish just seem to disappear? Any ideas on how to get back on the fish, would they be likly to have either moved lower or higher up in the river? Any input is appreciated. |

| I will only comment on the river flow. Go to the USGS web site, pick your state and then your river from the map. You should be able to find out if the flow rate has changed in that period of time. Good luck |

| I would think if you are basing failure on one days lack of raising a musky that it is just the results of "musky fishing". Go back for a week and see if the trend holds true. Here in North Carolinas Catawba River they often go back to the lake when the spawn is over. Musky Glenn |

Location: Cedarburg, Wisconsin | I've not fish muskies in rivers but all the other fish I've targeted seem to bunch up on the current breaks when the flow is faster, and when it slows down they spread out to areas that wouldn't have been good before. Just a thought. |
