Looking for help regarding wiring my bow mounted fish finder. I will be using a trolling motor mount for the transducer and my problem is that I need to keep my trolling motor removable.(cover doesnt fit over it on the boat) So I was thinking I could put an in line waterproof plug of some type. #1-- I cant seem to find anything for this application... #2 will this have any effect on my signal? Any help/ideas would be alot of help. Thanks in advance... David

Hiya,

Possible to just disconnect the transducer cord from the back of the bow mounted unit and remove the TM from there leaving the entire Transducer and cord with the trolling motor..

I have my bow mount set up in that manner, and works really well.

I believe a canvas shop can add material to your cover so that it'll fit over the troll motor so you can leave it on.
