ok, admit you thought I was referring to you guys when you decided to read this topic! LOL Just kidding!![]

I was wondering whether suckers are bottom feeders (just have a look at their mouth and the barbs). They remind me of barble, a fish that lives in European rivers and that is a bottom orientated fish. Do you think it makes any difference when you fish a sucker pattern colored lure closer to the bottom or nearer to the surface? If anybody has had that experience as well, I may decide to give it a go for our bottom feeding baitfish.
