My cable steering is shot, and instead of replacing it, I want to remove it and install power steering. Has anyone done this before, and if they have, would you recommend someone doing it themselves, or just bring it in? I was also wondering what system would work best for my rig. Its a 18' 6" bass boat with a 150 Merc. Any tips or suggestions would help. Thank you

This can be tricky. removal of the old system may require pulling outboard off to get cable out. install is bot bad. bleeding the system is ultra important.
