Muskie Fishing -> General Discussion -> One More word on Trolling

Subject: One More word on Trolling

I heard the phrase "multiple lines per angler while trolling" In Canada and the areas I fish the law is one rod per angler and no more then 2 lures or baited hooks per line. This makes total sense. One fact is that it is only fair to the other people trying to fish and two it allows you to control the fish better. What if you get multilple hookups. This would cause alot of undue stress on the fish with the extra time and possible tangles.

With catch and release fishing and single line per angler, trolling can be a fun and effective way of fishing with out disrupting other fisherman o the lake.
