Location: Chisholm, MN | Does anyone pull suckers around using small planer boards to hold them away from the boat and perhaps keep them right on the break? I've never seen it done but I think it could be worth a shot. The planer board is also maybe used as a bobber? |

Location: New Hope MN | I've done it and it works. I leave the clicker on and tighten up the anti reverse just so it holds it without clicking. A good wind change can make the clicker go off a little here and there. |

| I tried it with some dual fin planers last fall. Worked well for getting the bait away from the boat but the clips on them are a little light to stand up to a hook set. A few mods and it should be good to go this year. |
