Has anyone been to the dam lately? I might check it out later today.

The muskies are staying away for the most part. Might be due to very low water levels on Murphy's Creek from Lake Monona to the Dam. We need a good rainfall.

This is normally peak activity, the first two weeks of April, but nothing going right now.

Four fish came in this morning after the heavy rain. One about 40", 2 mid 30s and 1 lower 30's. One mid 30's had a white jig hanging on its lip. With the creek levels up more should come in the next few days. The smallest ones tried to jump the ledge but didn't make it up.

Season here is closed.. And there are "fish refuge-no fishing" signs on the lower side of the waterfall till a few weeks after the season opens on the rest of the chain.

Nice pics.. I guess the rain helped regardless how cold it seemed.
