I am looking for suggestions on the best place to hunt for musky within a 60 mile radius of Eau Claire WI. Lakes with numbers, lakes with big fish, any info you have at all let me know. Thanks a lot!

Like the previous post get the sportsman map book and do your homework, hire a guide and join the 1st Wisconsin chapter of Muskies Inc. A great bunch of guys and some really good fisherman. Summer meetings are on Lake Wissota and there is usually somone who will let you jump in their boat. As far as other water check out the local lakes and rivers (some mentioned previously). A lot of this water does not recieve heavy musky pressure. In addition to being very close these waters hold some very BIG fish. When I lived up there many nights I was the only boat out fishing skies. For the weekends you are at the gateway to the north within an hour you have more than enough options to fill many seasons without fishing all of it. Good luck.
