Location: Rhinelander | I have some 2008 and 2009 Lakemaster chips (WI) that were used in my 522 and 520 graphs and wondering if they will work with the newer Lowrance HDS units?
The unit we quickly spot checked it in was a HDS-7 and it didn't load right away....not my graphs, but I think it was a gen I HDS-7. A co-worker is considering my chips as I went to HB and no longer need these two.
Quick phone call to Lakemaster said it should work in the gen I graphs and maybe the gen II's.
Anybody have any experiance with this, pointers or are we out of luck?

Ran the search function here......found a ton of info/questions regarding older graphs with new chips, but little with old chips for new graphs.
Told my co-worker there may be better chips available now but he wants to try mine 1st. |
