| What is the best weather sites for getting the most accurate weather for your muskie trips? I have been using this site, I like the hourly reports and wind speeds and temps. http://www.accuweather.com/adcbin/local_index?nav=home | |||

| I go by the swinging rooster...the direction the weather vane is pointing is the direction I travel...also keep a hop toad in a shoe box; if he tries to jump out I know the fishing will be good as a warm front is passing through; if he just lays there I know a cold front is coming...if he lays there + doesn't move at all, I replace him as the cold front was real cold. * I think Dennys now has frog legs on their menu...we drove by one yesterday + saw 4 frogs coming out the back door on crutches......[:knockout:] | |||

| I use www.wunderground.com Grandpaw tought me the hop toad trick but put one in a shoebox the wife had and the fumes killed the toad. Didn't know she was keeping worn shoes in there...[] Mark.... | |||

| Jason- I use the National Weather Service for realtime monitoring, etc. There is a vast amount of information available + very educational. Here's the link to NWS main webpage. There's a map at the bottom that has links to the local NWS offices. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ In addition to main & local offices they also have regional webpages. Here's the Central Region. It has same link map to local offices at the top-> http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ Lastly there's a webpage for their National Doppler Radar sites -> http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/national.html Explore- The local sites also have really good radar, including loops of radar images overtime so you can see storm progress/tracking. Hope it helps everyone. Al Warner www.icantplayfindmyfoot.com | |||

| Jason I use accuweater.com also. They are usually right on the money as long as its within 48 hours any futher out and its a crap shoot. The hourly forcast with wind speed and direction info helps to plan my strategy before I get to the lake. Larry | |||

| I prefer intellicast.com. I really like the radar loop and the local forcasts are pretty close. I use the find-a-forcast by zip code link. -ost[:praise:] | |||

| Great stuff guys..... Now I have more weather sites to check before I go out on my ventures. But sometimes just looking at the Flags on the way home from work is the best game plan!. | |||

| Even though THE Weather Channel has been playing some groovy background music, War, Pink Floyd, Widespread Panic, ect, they have ruined more fishing days for me than I'd like to remember. | |||
