| Had one fish, mid 40's, try very hard to eat my homemade glider, but she had poor aim. Only saw that one fish in the morning. Went in and grabbed a burger and watched the Queens for awhile. Came back out about 2 o'clock, and my buddy got a 31 on a Suick on the first cast. Raised 5 other fish between 2 and 5 o'clock, all over 40 inches. Stuck an OBESE 46 incher right at 5 o'clock. Got her on a homemade Jerkbait. Called it a day. A pretty good day.
The 46" was my personal best![] [] [] |

| Put a 35" in the boat. Lost another one but did not see it, was running the chinese fire drill while trolling by myself. Forgot to shut the motor off when I jumped on the back deck. Just as soon as I reached down to shut it off the fish changed directions and the rest is history. Had the lake to myself for 4 of the 5 hours I was out. Really enjoyed the "my time".[:)] |

| The group I was in got 43", 42", 42" and a 38". All on suckers. We were up in Bayfield Cty. My boat was the only one that doubled up. I got one of them and then in the afternoon, the 38" bit my sucker and then I passed it on to a kid in my boat for the hookset and fight.

| Guided Friday morning and raised 3 fish in the first hour, one that should have been caught,"there's one" as the lure is stopped and the fish looking at it fron 6 inches away, you know the story. Raised 2 more fish later in the afternoon, both 40 inch class fish, one that couldn't aim to good. This fish tried twice to eat my crank bait but over shot it. Saturday took out Beav and showed him the value of suckers in the fall. Put two out and walked up to the front of the boat, took a cast, the clicker started to go off on my sucker rod, grabbed the rod and landed a 35 inch ski within 5 minuits of fishing. I had a 40 inch class fish take a swipe at my Suick later that morning but no hooks found a home. We called it quits around 11am. Beav it a fun guy to fish with, lots of good storys about deer/muskies. We will fish together again.[;)] |
