Another great show. Wondering what you think caused the sore at the base of the tail on last fish you caught?

Rowtroller, I didn't see that sore on the muskie when I caught it. After looking at it on the show, it doesn't look like it happened during the fight. Although it was an open sore, there was no bleeding that I could see. Could be from any number of things like post-spawn bite that didn't heal? Was healthy otherwise, fought like crazy as you saw I wasn't able to keep it out of the motor.

Thanks, Lee

Looks like I got some air time. About 13 seconds into the video there's a short segment showing 2 guys in a ranger and a lone guy off to the left. That'll be me. Don't remember if I got anything that day or not.

First I wanted to thanks all those that attended the CCMI Muskie School. Amazed by the turnout and the success of the event.

Also, we have got a full half hour of some giant muskie content coming up this Sunday on BIGFISH365 including fish from Mille Lacs and Green Bay. Should be fun!

Here is a preview!

Thanks for watching.

Episode 12 is now available online! This week on BIGFISH365 we examine two of the top muskie "superfish" waters of Mille Lacs Lake, MN and Lake Michigan's Green Bay. Giant fish including Jacobson's potential MN State Record 57" x 27" Mille Lacs beast. Thanks for watching!

I agree, it was pretty neat. That little guy holding the giant was quite a moment to capture on film!

I was so proud of David when I put that big fish in his lap and he held on! I didn't even look at the 2 pics until after we released her, and couldn't believe the smile on his face. A memory of a life time! Thanks Lee and Eric for sharing it with everyone on your show.

No Erik and David, thank you for letting me share that amazing footage. I'm so glad someone deserving caught it...not on a Husky Jerk and 10 lb test. Made the 53"er on the show look small!?

Thanks for watching everyone!

Being from PA I haven't been able to get your show on television, but I have watched every episode so far online.

You guys do an awesome job, Lee! You've touched on all of my favorite types of freshwater fishing this season... Muskies, night walleyes, river smallmouth, and great lakes steelhead/browns. Bigfish365 has quickly become one of my favorite shows, great work!

Eric, I will say that was one hell of a fish to boat. Question for you, after watching the video, the fight was not shown/or edited out. The video goes from the strike and the next thing we see is the netting. Any reason for this?

thanks

Secretbuck, we had to cut most of the fight out due to time constraints. You can get the full fight on "The Inside Line" DVD at JustBigMuskies.com. My favorite shot is when the fish goes into the net, you can really see how huge it was.
