| I drive a 2006 F150 5.4 V8 4x4 triton 6 lug. I am starting to hear a grinding sound from my pass. side front tire when i apply my brakes. Curious if that would be a brake pad going bad? Or that along with other things? I am not mechanically sound however, I have been watching youtube videos and checking websites on changing brake pads and it seems fairly simple. Any input on the ease of this project? Also any good brake pad suppliers or any I should stay away from?
Thanks for any advice or input. |

Location: Chesterton, Indiana | If it is not the brake pad it is the 4 wheel drive sensor. Sounds wierd but this happened to me. I also have a F150 2006 4x4. I didn't change it becuase it was a company truck and it went to the dealership for service. If it's not the break pad check this out. |

Location: Eastern Ontario | You say your not particularly mechanically inclined you probably don't have all the tools especially if somthing is rusted up or seized. Pay a mechanic for his labour and knowledge your familys and other users of the roads saftey is at stake |
