Find the chips that will fit the unit you want to buy and then compare the chip to the lakes you plan to fish.

When checking the lakes on the chips you will find a limited number of IL lakes when compared to MN and WI. I have a Lakemaster chip for IL and it is better than the base map on my unit but does not have the lakes I usually fish in IL.

The Lakemaster for MN has the lakes I do fish and it is great.

Location: Mpls., MN.
I was told to use Navinocs from a local on Lake Kinkaid. I'm headed down to Il. early April from MN.
