Do any of you run one? And what are you thoughts on them?

I'm interested in buying one and it is in my price range and I like the layout. Just curious as to what everyone thinks of them.

Thanks!

Great boat. Runs and fishes really well. The rod locker isn't 'muskie' sized, but the rest of the boat yells muskie fishing.

How does it handle rougher water? It has a small beam for the length of the boat.

I've been in one on some fairly rough stuff and it did real well. Wider isn't necessarily better in rough water...hit your hand flat on the water...hard...then on it's side.

Love mine, the rod lockers aren't bad (8 ft) I can fit all but one of my rods in them, the other one I strap to the deck. Did great trolling walleyes with it, for a guy that primarily casts but wants a multispecies boat I don't think you can beat it. Plus the tackle storage behind the livewell is tough to beat.
115 merc 4 stroke and I get around 42 mph.

The Predator is a sweet musky machine. We traded 4 2009 models in last fall and 4 more 2012's are sitting at the dealer ready for pick up. If you contact Franks marine in Orr, MN and talk to Chris he should have our 09's rigged with 90 optis for sale. I've ran 80 days a year in this boat for 3 seasons, had them in some large waves on Leech and Vermilion. I've gotten wet in them but the performance is awesome. Like smbrickner said the storage is great, you can get tons of stuff in this boat. Good luck with the boat search.

Is there any difference between the 2009 Predator and the new one?

No the layout hasn't changed and according to our dealer and another Lund source 2012 will be the final production year for them.
