| heading to sabaskong next week, need advice on where to fish and best presentations for this time of year. Have good map just need to know best areas to fish! thanks in advance. |

| Muskyfreak,the latest report I have heard was the water temp to be in the upper 50's at the NW Angle.They are getting some trolling and casting so you options are limitless...The trolling bite usually gets hot at about 55 degrees and gets better from there.I would suggest to get Dick Pearsons' book" Muskies On The Shield",it is THE book for fishing Canadian waters.Anyway where do you fish,here are the basics of basics for LOTW...Cast,( can troll too) the west facing sand beaches,troll shorelines in 8 to 15' with areas of large expances of water near by,preferably near a channel with gravel/small rock shore lines.If you find healthy weeds,fish them.I am by NO means an expert on LOTW,just what I have learned...Good Luck and be SAFE,lots of hidden rocks.Paul |

| Depending where you are staying, hit the rock bars we have done excellent this time of year. Find wind blown points, saddles, reefs. Jakes have worked the best for trolling and if you are finding that the fish are going to be up shallow still, throw the reef Hawg, my money bait up there! we are going up there next week and staying at Mylies Place resort in Morson and fishing Sabaskong area down toward nester falls. I am looking forward for this trip. When we were up there over labor day we boated 14 muskies in 4 days and i caught 2 50's in 20 min on the same rock bar,and my partner caught a 52, we also caught45,46 and some 30"ers.
