Subject: Pounder/MegaD Hook up percentages

I was wondering what the hook up rate is on these baits.. The tail seems long as the body part of the bait.. Most of the time do they just inhale these kind of baits? And are these usually just "big fish spot" lures? Or do smaller fish bite these too? Thanks!
