I am in the process of recarpeting my 681vs. I've got all the carpet, trim, rivets, etc, out and am just working on the last of the old glue. I've pulled the lids and removed their hinges and latches. Now, as I'm getting ready to think about the new carpet, I'm looking at the underside of the lids. As this Ranger is a '96, what was a nice shiny white underside on each of these lids now has lots of tiny little stress cracks. Nothing structural; just unsightly. Any recommendations for cleaning these up? I've thought about putting something like Tuff-Coat on them, but that stuff is heavy and these lids are heavy enough already. Any other options out there? Thanks.

Can you wet sand out the stress cracks and re gel coat them? Or paint them white with an epoxy paint?

Good suggestion; thanks. The stress cracks wet-sanded right out. Now for a paint refresh...
