I am heading to Shelbyville next week for work and I am considering taking my boat.

Does anyone have any fishing reports and if you do can you give recommendations on locations to fish such as the dam and what lures would you suggest?

Thanks for any input.

Small Shad style baits like large Rattle traps or the baits Greg Thomas is using at Cave Run. Those are good spring baits in Central and Southern illinois.

You're not getting many responses because 1) people aren't fishing it and 2) fishing this late in winter/very early spring stinks down there.

If you have to, I'd troll. Anywhere really. Find pods of baitfish, troll small cranks in white and firetiger. The community spots will suffice: Lithia, the dam, the basin and points between Lithia and the dam, up to Wolf Creek. Good luck (you might need it)!
