Subject: New Humminbird product?

Anyone heard about new product coming from Humminbird? Someone on Facebook said there will be a LIVE press conference on Thursday following Media Day at the Bassmaster Classic. Perhaps the Terrova and Humminbird can be networked, that would be sweet!

That would be sweet. I have my GPS & Auto-Pilot networked on my boat in Fl and it is really nice.

Now the bad part of it for me. I just bought a new Ranger with Hbird and Terrova, probably no way to upgrade.......

Looks cool...I may hook it up to my Bird and get a motion laser to track the muskies...

It is official...360 Imaging has been announced. I think it looks pretty cool, but the price tag is a little steep for my wallet!

I saw the beam limits for across the water (radius of the circle can be as wide as 150ft), but did not see anything about depth limits...anyone see any information on that?

Does anyone know anymore about the unit... Just did a quick look at the sites...

I assume this will just work with the DI and SI units?
Cabelas just says... 798c, 898c, 998c, 1198c units

Think its getting hooked up just like a transducer?

Matt,

http://www.humminbird.com/360Imaging/

I watched a little part of the product announcement. They mentioned that it will work with any networked side imaging unit...With them mentioning an ethernet-ready fish finder, I am thinking that they will use the ethernet to connect the devices together.

Looks pretty cool to me. I would be the idiot that leaves it down when taking off. I hope that they can implement this system in trolling motors in the future.

That's pretty cool, but I'll wait until I don't have to install a power pole on the back of my boat just for this.....
