Location: Central WI | I'm looking for a good 'beginner' airbrush. I've spent some time searching the forums and it sounds like IWATA is liked by a few people on this site. Just curious what the difference between the Revolution and the Eclipse is? I've never done any airbrush work yet so I am just starting out. On ebay the Revolution is around $90 and the Eclipse is around $125. Any info would be great. Thanks! |

| I would go with the HP-C it's got a big cup on it that you can really load up for doing big baits or a couple baits at at time, plus it's big enough to stick your finger in it to wipe it clean. I've been running it for 2 years and can't find anything wrong with it or a reason to buy another one. It has a .35 nozzle so it's great for detail and large stuff. A few of my friends have it and they all like it as well. It retails for 119.00 |

Location: mpls | I have 8 eclipses and a few revolutions. Love them both. I prefer bottom feed,so you can change colors quickly if needed and breakdown is a snap.

Location: Middletown, Ohio | If your looking for a good beginer brush, try one of the Neo Iwatta brushes. I purchased one from Hobby Lobby a couple months ago and absolutely love it. The brush sells for $59.95, but Hobby Lobby has been offering 40 percent off coupons on their website which bring the price of the airbrush to around $36 out the door............you can't beat it ! It's a gravity feed brush and I have yet to have to take it completely apart to clean it and that's after painting at least 30 musky baits with it. Give one a try, you won't be disappointed

| I do most of my painting with an Iwata HP-C plus and if I could only have one brush that would be it. The gravity feed cup is nice for quick color changes. I also have an Eclipse bottle feed that I use for base coating or when I’m going though lots of paint. I also have a Paasche H that is for clear coating only. Have fun! |

Location: Central WI | I almost bought an HP-CR over the weekend, but then I saw the Eclipse. Now there's the NEO...decisions, decisions, decisions. I've never airbrushed before so I'm nervous about making a big investment in something and not liking it. I really want to try my hand at lure making though. I may start off with the Neo which is a little cheaper. If I like airbrushing I can always upgrade. I appreciate all the input.
