| Im wondering about glider weighting. I don't want anyone's secret recipe but should the weight be mid-bait? I made this last year but it's nothing more than a decoration as I made it way to nose heavy. Worried too much about the finish and didn't test it before I painted.
Thanks- Erik

| I put my eye screws in the bait then lay it on its side on the edge of the table. Let the nose hang off the table til you get it just to its balance point. I usually put most of my weight right there. Now weight Your bait around that line always keeping it the balance point. I usually weight it a little heavier then it needs to be then just drill out the weight I have at my balance point til it sit neutral in the water or even just floats depending on what kind of hang time I want. The hooks and clear make up the rest of the weight. Hope this helps |

Location: Northern New Jersey | i normally put some in front of the middle treble, and then a little in front of the back treble. here is a great link i got off of another site, not sure of the cross site referencing rules on this forum, but its a really great site.
