Location: Detroit River | What are you tying the skirts to? Are you using a zip tie or thread to tie them?

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | There was a time when I was concerned on tying a perfect bucktail. I suppose if you are selling them it is important. I've taken tails that my 9 year old grandson tied when he was learning...loks like someone swept the floor and got it all on a hook.:-) They catch fish....perfection is an illusion and often in Muskie fishing is highly overated. |

Location: Detroit River | When I tie mine I use a bread tie to temporary tie it in place to the coil next to the spot that I plan to tie with thread. I then move the strands around until they look even going around the coil then I tie with thread & remove the bread tie when I’m done.
