I've seen some colored blades lately painted with a translucent type paint/resin on nickle blades. No primer was used. Blades still have flash. Anybody know what this product is and if it's available for purchase somewhere? Looks great, but I guess it could have durability issues.

Thanks

Translucent powder coating allows the metalic sheen to show through.

I too have used powder coats that are translucent... I have been powder coating a few few blades and have come up with some pretty cool color combos that are still reflective. only thing i am having problems is paint chipping off the blades.
