Location: Minnesota | ok ive been puting mine in a plano stow away 4-15 i can get abought 20 to 30 per box my problem they get tageled cant see what i have there has to be a better way to store them i like the plano i can put them out of the way when not using them and the floor stays clean and the bad thig or good thing is i bought 15 moor and no place to put them so be for i go out and get another stow away just wanted to see how every one else is storing there thanks |

Location: Chesterton, Indiana | Plano. They are a pain like you said you can't see what you have in there and the tangles are a pain but it is nice to store them in the plano because they go below deck nicely instead of the big bulky musky boxes on the market. |

| I use planos also, there fairly cheap so buy a bunch and store them by color/ blade combo, blk/nickle in one slot, blk/orange next slot, blue/Nickle in the next etc. then mark the top with a black marker for easy identification. Also if you have a pedestal seat in your boat go to any hardware store and get some PVC pipe and make bait tubes
my top producing tails are always in the pedestal tubes, backups ride below the deck in the planos. |

| For baits I just want to have in the boat but not the ones I'm using for the day I just cut disks of pipe insulation and covered the hooks. The insulation already has a slit so you just have to cut it all the way through. Slide over the hook shank and poke the 3 points in the foam. Not the perfect system but works great for keeping the baits from tangling. I just keep the on deck baits in my smaller lakewood with baits I am currently using. Not sure how many you can fit in one of the open planos but it is more than one should ever need.

| I use the plano 3700s, if you do it right, you can get 16 DCG (8SM) into one case. I then converted my lockable rod locker into lockable plano storage. I keep most of my rubber in there as well. I Can get 6-7 Planos in there, no problem. No issues during the heat wave this summer either. (I might have gotten lucky there to be honest) The Fish Hawk has pretty solid storage options…
Nick’s insulation idea is great, I’m going to try that.

Location: Racine, Wi | Brad, I'm in the same boat as you (litterally lol). I pile the Planos in the storage and under the space by the front deck step.
I like the foam idea, but I did something similar with my cranks, and they were ready to rock in the springtime, but I never put them on after I started using them. I just pile the blades into Planos like the others. They don't seem to get toooooo hung up for the most part. |
