I'm thinking about going to the Musky Road Rules clinic in Pittsburgh this Spring. If I attend this event, will Tony Grant, Gregg Thomas, etc. be there? I got an email stating that Todd Young (local guide) will be the speaker, but I'm assuming there will be others there. I've never attended one of these clinics, but I've heard their very informative and well worth the trip.

Posts: 470 Location: Blaine, MN | The "Road Rules" I attended Tony, and Gregg both had lengthy, and in depth presentations, checked in attendees, managed and performed the pool side demo/ new product introduction, and emceed the Q&A portion of the day. They were both very involved and fully committed. Was a great way to spend a winter Saturday. I plan on attending again this year.

Thanks to all that replied. I assumed they would be there, but I couldn't find anything that indicated that they did. I figured they would talk a little since it's a six-hour-long clinic.

Definately the best off the water clinics there are. You'll usually leave with enough baits, terminal tackle ect. To cover the cost of the entry fee. It's also a great way to combat cabin fever or as I call it e.f.w.s. (extreme fish withdrawal symptom)

Posts: 1220 | My experience with this clinic is that Gregg and Tony do the "heavy lifting" with the teaching and then bring in a selection of the area guides (often totally top sticks) to add more specific local knowlege, then end the day with an open forum of all the guys answering the specific questions from the crowd. That, a really fair distribution of free-bees, and a totally nice day away from the thoughts of shoveling snow made it a no-brainer for me. The Musky Hunter school where you actually get to fish with the top guys too is better...but you can't do that in the winter. Marty

Landonfish - 12/31/2011 5:28 AM Is there a website for this. http://www.muskyroadrules.com/clinics.htm There are clinics in MN, WI, KY, and NY, as well. The Pittsburgh clinic is just closest to me. $50 for men, women and children are free. Does anyone know if they do poolside demos at the Pittsburgh clinic?

They had a poolside demo in the past at the burgh show. Gregg and Tony will do seminars along with some local guys. Has always been a good time and you will leave with door prizes worth more than admission cost.

Posts: 19 | The coolest part of the seminar is when Gregg actually gets in the pool and simulates a musky striking lures as Tony reels them in. Tony lands Gregg with a boga grip about 1 out of every 5 casts. They raffle off chances to catch Gregg as well. Mike
