I liked Spiderwire Ultracast the best but they don't make it anymore. I don't like Masterbraid, way too limp for me. I used Power Pro for along time before switching to Ultracast. May try the new Slick PP,Suffix Braid,or 832. Never have tried any of the Tuff Lines. What lines are available in 100 lb. ?

832 is pretty amazing, silky smooth and doesn't absorb water. I tried it on 1 rod this year and will be switching all my other ones over this winter.

I put 65lb Sufix 832 ony HS toro for use on my jerkbait rod this year and really really liked it. Not sure if it comes in 100lb but if memory serves me correct it does come in 80lb, maybe someone else can verify this.

Last year I used SUFFIX 832, GREAT LINE !!!!! For 2012 I will try some of the new POWER PRO SUPER 8 SLICK Line it comes in 3 colors and see how it compares to 832.

832 comes in 80 for sure but I've never seen it in 100. I'd buy some if it did cause I like the 80

I tried masterbraid on my musky reels last year and it's good stuff, but had to replace line on my downsizing rod and reel and tried suffix 832 in 50 lb and wow it is awesome. Absorbs NO water, will by switching to it this year on all my rigs.

I'll put my vote in for the High Seas Grand Slam. I used to be a Power Pro user but feel the High Seas product is better. Casts better, picks up less water winds better on the reel.

I put 832 on two of my reels and really love it. Picks up very very little water.

I'll try PP Super Slick, hope it's good
Tried 832 last year, its a nice line but it looses color, and i need to see the line well when i fish extremely slow and need to see the strikes in the pauses by looking at the line

I was curious at how fast it lost it's color. I've tried multiple brands of braid and they all fade faster than I would like them to. Does the 832 fade faster than other braids?

Mine faded really quick, quicker than any other brand i've tried and certainly quicker than Tuf Line XP (my current favorite)

I know regular Sufix (Performance Braid) fades quickly. The color in Power Pro lasts a little longer, but not enough to get excited about. Stren Sonic Braid held its color the longest, but still nothing significant. They're all about the same color after a few trips, but I was hoping they would have figured how to make it last when 832 came out.

Does any company besides Power Pro make 150lb? 100lb seems light when throwing Pounders, definitely when throwing Two Pounders.

i tried 3 spools of Sufix 832 this past season and it SUCKS.. terrible line. If it isn't bleeding all over you and your boat, then it's getting jammed in your reel so bad you need a utility knife to cut it out. Never seen this before and have tried all of the brands. I always go back to power pro just because it works. Regular sufix performance braid is good, but again don't waste your time or money on the 832.

if you want 100# line, try Vicious. I have used thier 100lb for large baits and although it doesn't cast as well as 80# you can tell the differenece in strength.
