Posts: 150 Location: Central Minnesota | If money dosen't matter then go with the new Trinidad 16 NA. It has great power to make the big blades come in easy, and it has great line pickup (46 in) to really burn them in. It dosen't have a levelwind which takes some getting used to but it only takes a few hours to learn.

Posts: 32 Location: Madison, Wi | I use to fish my revo winch 7 days a week for about 6 to 8 hours a day before I got a job. I did this for about a month and never had a single problem with it. I would recommend revo's to everyone an anyone who asked.

If you wanna spend $500.00 you can go with the Tranx, although my Revo has been awesome. . . Can't burn 10's like I want, but I fish 5 days a week using nothing but 10's. . . 2 years so far and not a single problem!

Tranx is $500! If you tournament fish this would be worth it. . . or you could buy a Winch and a Calcutta and spend the same amount

The blue colored Winch has 4.6 to 1 gears not 5.4. The 5.4 is a standard Revo Toro. The 6.4 to 1 is a high speed Revo Toro. As for Abus being "bunk", I've seen a Calcutta break on a hookset and the guy had to hand line the fish in. I haven't seen too many Diawa's out there to compare to. I like my Abus and have done the job.

I'm sure this has been said on this thread before, but the 5.4:1 is no longer available. If you want one of those you will need to find a "used" one on here, eBay, Craigslist, et cetera. You might get lucky and find a left over at a retailer, but I wouldn't count on it.

Or buy the gears and place them in a Winch or a HS
